When I think about when I was a little girl (even younger), I remember a lot of things, but there is one memory that always pops into my mind. And that is, the movie that I used to watch all the time. Hocus Pocus is the name of this movie, and I'm sure you've all heard about it, it's a classic!

First of all, let me either remind you what the movie is about, or tell you if you haven't seen it. Hocus Pocus is about this teenager named Max and his little sister, Dani, who move to a new town, Salem. At first, Max hates it because he misses home and also because he struggles fitting in when he goes to his new high school. One day, Max sees this beautiful girl called Allison. In class, the teacher was talking about Halloween and this “myth” of three witches (The Sanderson sisters) that could be awakened only on Halloween night. Allison was a strong believer of all these stories and she was talking about it in class, telling all her classmates that she's sure these witches did exist. On the other hand, Max was not a believer of Halloween or crazy little stories, so he stands up to her. Later that night, he goes to her house by accident while trick or treating with Dani and the three of them decide to go on a Halloween adventure! They had this crazy idea of going to the Sanderson Sisters house. When they arrive, they accidentally wake them. But I won't tell you more so that I don't spoil it for you!

Now, why did I like this movie so much? Well, since I was a little girl, I've never liked horror stuff, but I've always loved Halloween, it's probably my favorite season of all year! Therefore, this movie was extremely entertaining for me since it wasn't scary at all, it was actually a lot of fun. I used to watch this movie all the time. I remember waking up every Saturday or Sunday at 6am, putting on my light purple princess costume and watching Hocus Pocus until my family members woke up. Now, this memory is one of the few that I know I'll carry with me forever. Everything about this movie is just incredible for me, it brings up many good memories. Nowadays, I still watch Hocus Pocus every now and then and it makes me so happy. Recently, the sequel of this movie came out and I'm dying to watch it. I hope it's as good as the first one.

Hocus Pocus is, from my point of view, one of the greatest Halloween movies i've ever seen.  I decided to write about this since Halloween is here and I thought we could get in our halloween spirit, and what better way than with the Sanderson Sisters!
