Valentine Raviolis

We often tie together Valentine’s Day with sweets, but who said it can´t make for a nice dinner? For this reason, and without further ado, I present to you Valentine's ravioli! For a perfect dinner with your favorite person.

 

Ingredients (For four servings):

 

  • 400 grams of flour

  • 4 eggs

  • Pink food coloring (or whatever you like!)

  • Cold water (if needed)

 

The recipe:

  1. Prepare a space on your counter for the dough.

  2. Measure the flour and lay it on the counter

  3. Make a dwell in the center of the flour.

  4. Pour the eggs and the food coloring, whisking with a fork when finished.

  5. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is ready

  6. Let the dough rest for half an hour before shaping your pasta

Shaping the pasta:

  1. Spread flour evenly throughout the counter so the dough does not stick.

  2. Roll out the dough on the counter, not so thin but not extremely thick

  3. Cut the hearts with the help of a cookie-cutter

  4. Put filling in the middle of one of the hearts and cover it with another

  5. Seal the ravioli with the help of a fork, using water so it can seal better.

Finally, cook the pasta in boiling water for about 25 minutes or until it's done.
